If you have trouble uploading your files, consult the list below to see if your problem can easily be resolved:
- Over quota: If you have reached your quota, you
will not be able to upload files until you clear some space.
The quota for a course, project, or portfolio site, or for My Workspace, is 4 GB. To check your site quota and usage, in the Resources tool, click
. - WebDAV incorrectly configured: If you are
attempting to use WebDAV to upload your files and you
continually receive error messages, you may not have WebDAV correctly
configured. For more information, see ARCHIVED: Using Windows, how do I use WebDAV to download files from my Oncourse Resources or Drop Box?, ARCHIVED: Using WebDAV with AnyClient to download files from Resources or Drop Box, or ARCHIVED: Using Mac OS X, how do I use WebDAV to download files from my Oncourse Resources or Drop Box?.
Note: WebDAV is not available for use with Guest accounts.
- Upload limit exceeded: You can upload only 200 MB at once, so you may need to upload large files one at a time. You can upload files larger than this limit by using WebDAV; see the documents linked above.
- Filenames with unsupported characters: Some characters in the file's name will cause an error on attempted upload; see ARCHIVED: Unsupported characters. If your file's name contains one of these characters, change the filename before attempting to upload it.
