In Oncourse CL, why am I having trouble uploading files?

If you have trouble uploading your files, consult the list below to see if your problem can easily be resolved:

  • Over quota: Your quota in Oncourse CL Resources is 1GB. If you have reached your quota, you will not be able to upload further files to Resources until you clear some space.

  • WebDAV incorrectly configured: If you are attempting to use WebDAV to upload your files and you continually receive error messages, you may not have WebDAV correctly configured. For more information, see Uploading files to Resources using WebDAV with Windows XP or Vista, Uploading files to Resources using WebDAV with AnyClient, or Uploading files to Resources using WebDAV with Mac OS X.

Note: WebDAV is not available for use with Guest accounts.

  • Upload limit exceeded: You can upload only 200MB at once, so you may need to upload large files one at a time. You can upload files larger than this limit using WebDAV; see the documents linked above.

  • Filenames with unsupported characters: Some characters in the file's name will cause an error on attempted upload; see Unsupported characters. If your file's name contains one of these characters, change the filename before attempting to upload it.

For further help troubleshooting your file upload problem, contact your campus Support Center.
