Can I share, loan, or resell my CPSrf response pad?

A Classroom Performance System rf (CPSrf) response pad can be registered to only one individual per semester, so you cannot share your response pad with a friend during the same semester that you are using it for a class.

When your class that uses CPSrf has ended, you can loan or resell your response pad to another student. That student will have to register the response pad for additional semesters. Also, the IU Bookstore will buy back working response pads.

Note: When you register a response pad, it is linked to you for 15 days or until your class ends (whichever is longer). Once this time period ends, the response pad can be registered for another class by the same or another student. To ensure that the pad can be registered by another student, you can "unregister" your pad.

To unregister a response pad you had previously registered and free the pad to be registered by another student:

  1. Visit CPSOnline.
  2. Use the drop-down list to select your school, and click Choose Site.
  3. Log into CPSOnline using your username and password.
  4. Click Manage my Pads.
  5. On the pad management page, locate the response pad and click Delete to remove it from your account.

Note: The CPSrf response pad is covered by warranty for one year.
