ARCHIVED: What is Firefox Password Manager, and how can I remove passwords I've saved?
In Firefox, the Password Manager stores names and passwords on your hard drive and enters them automatically when you visit certain sites. This can be a helpful timesaver when visiting web sites that require you to log in. However, for security reasons, you may prefer to enter this information yourself rather than save it on your hard drive. If so, when Firefox asks if you want it to remember your password, click . To postpone the decision, click , and Firefox will prompt you the next time you visit the site.
To remove saved passwords in Firefox 2.x and later, follow the appropriate steps below.
Windows
- In Firefox, from the
If the menu bar is hidden, press
Alt
to make it visible. menu, select

- Click the icon near the top of the window.
- Click .
- To delete all your saved passwords, click
To view your saved passwords so that you can choose which ones you'd like to delete, click
