ARCHIVED: What is Firefox Password Manager, and how can I remove passwords I've saved?
In Firefox, the Password Manager stores names and passwords
on your hard drive and enters them automatically when you visit
certain sites. This can be a helpful timesaver when visiting web sites
that require you to log in. However, for security reasons, you may
prefer to enter this information yourself rather than save it on your
hard drive. If so, when Firefox asks if you want it to remember your
password, click Never for This Site. To postpone the
decision, click Not Now, and Firefox will prompt you the next
time you visit the site.
