In Netscape Browser 8.x, how do I remove a stored password?
Netscape Browser 8 can store usernames and passwords for web sites you visit in what Netscape calls "passcards". To remove a stored (cached) passcard in Netscape Browser 8.x for a particular web site, follow the instructions below:
- From the
Toolsmenu, selectOptions....
- Click
Privacy.
- Expand the
Passcard Managerselection and then click theView Passcards...button.
- The
Passcardswindow will open. On the left, under "Passcards saved", you will see a list of passcards for web sites for which you elected to have Netscape save username and password information. To delete a specific passcard, select it and clickRemove. To delete all the passcards, selectRemove All.
- Click
OK, and thenOKagain.
