In Netscape Browser 8.x, how do I remove a stored password?

Netscape Browser 8 can store usernames and passwords for web sites you visit in what Netscape calls "passcards". To remove a stored (cached) passcard in Netscape Browser 8.x for a particular web site, follow the instructions below:

1. From the Tools menu, select Options... .
   
   
2. Click Privacy.
   
   
3. Expand the Passcard Manager selection and then click the View Passcards... button.
   
   
4. The Passcards window will open. On the left, under "Passcards saved", you will see a list of passcards for web sites for which you elected to have Netscape save username and password information. To delete a specific passcard, select it and click Remove. To delete all the passcards, select Remove All.
   
   
5. Click OK, and then OK again.
