Information about Ruckus at IU

The music downloading service Ruckus is available to students with an @indiana.edu email address. The Indiana University Student Association has negotiated with Ruckus for the use of this service, which provides free, legal access to 1.5 million licensed songs. You can set up your account and download the Ruckus software at the IUSA's Ruckus web page.

Note: You cannot download songs from Ruckus to your iPod. Also, Ruckus does not run in Mac OS X, although you can use third-party software to run it on a Macintosh under Windows. (Even if you run it on a Macintosh, you still cannot download songs to your iPod.)
