Oncourse CL changes and enhancements

Changes for spring 2010

The following enhancements to Oncourse CL are available for use as of December 14, 2009. For background information about the Oncourse enhancement and development process, see Oncourse Enhancement and Development Process and Oncourse Enhancements Status.

  • Assignments Beta, a new tool in expanded pilot phase, is now available to all course and project sites.

  • Messages and Forums notifications for all sites have returned to My Workspace.

  • Site Setup now lists groups alphabetically.

Changes for fall 2009

The following enhancements to Oncourse CL are available for use as of August 19, 2009. For background information about the Oncourse enhancement and development process, see Oncourse Enhancement and Development Process and Oncourse Enhancements Status.

  • Blogs Beta, a new blogging tool, is available for use in all course sites, as well as in My Workspace.

  • Customize Tabs is now available from a link under the - more - tab.

  • Enhancements in Pilot: The following enhancements are visible only to faculty and students participating in Oncourse pilot projects. They will be available for general use in a future release. To learn more or participate in one of these pilots, contact your campus teaching and learning center.

    • Turning Technologies clickers:

      • Ability for students to register clicker devices for one class or all classes via a new Oncourse tool (tentative)
      • Ability to send clicker results to the Gradebook (tentative)
