In Oncourse, which tools have printable views?

You can display a printable view using the Syllabus, Forums, Roster, Calendar, and Wiki tools.

  • Syllabus: To display the Syllabus in a printable view, click the printer icon at the top of the page. This will open a new window; click Send To Printer to print.

  • Forums: In the Forums tool, you can display an individual forum topic (but not an entire forum) in a printable view. Click the name of the topic to open it, and then click the printer icon at the top of the page. This will open a new window displaying all postings in threaded view; click Send To Printer to print.

  • Roster: In the Roster tool, you can print either a list of participants or their pictures, if available. Click Overview or Pictures at the top of the page to toggle between the two views. If desired, select a subset of the site participants from the drop-down list. When printing from the Overview option, click Print in the upper right. When printing pictures, choose either Print Screen or Print Pictures in Single Column. Your browser's print dialog box will appear; adjust your settings as needed, and then click Print or OK. This will print a list in a printer-friendly format.

  • Calendar: To display the Calendar tool in a printable view, see Printing your calendar.

  • Wiki: To display a Wiki page in a printable view, click the printer icon at the top of the page. This will open a new window containing a printer-friendly version of the page; use your browser's print function to print it.
