To edit the metadata for a single track (e.g., a song or podcast episode):
- Select the track you want to edit.
- Click
Command-i
. and then . Alternatively, in
Mac OS X, use - From the box that appears, select the tab.
- Edit any fields you wish. Then click .
To edit the metadata for multiple tracks (e.g., all the tracks on an album):
- Select the tracks you wish to edit. (In Mac OS X, hold down
Command
while making your selections. In Windows, hold downCtrl
while making your selections.) - Click and then .
- From the "Multiple Item Information" box, make any edits you wish. Then click .
