In the Oncourse Original Test and Survey tool, how do I assign tests to study groups or project teams?

Note: The Original Test and Survey tool is slated to be completely replaced by Tests & Surveys as of fall 2012; see About the retirement of Original Test and Survey.

Note: To complete the steps listed in this document, you must already have a test or survey created (see Steps involved in creating a new test or survey), and you must have groups specified (see Managing groups).

In the Original Test and Survey tool, to assign tests and surveys to study groups or project teams:

1. In the menubar of your course site, click Original Test and Survey.
   
   
2. On the Main Menu, select the test or survey from the drop-down list, and click Go.
   
   
3. On the Test Menu, click Settings Menu.
   
   
4. Click Access Control Settings.
   
   
5. Under "Restrict to these Groups", select the groups you wish to allow access.
   
   
6. When you are finished, click OK.
