Oncourse CL Resources: Working with form items

Note: To complete the procedures in this document, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. To determine your role, follow the directions in Participant roles. To view a list of permissions associated with a given role, see Permissions, roles, and tools. For a basic understanding of roles and permissions, see Permissions and roles: Overview.

In Resources, to create a form item for use in ePortfolio, follow these steps:

  1. From the Add menu, select New Form Item, and under "Select a form", pick a form to use. Global forms that everyone can use are listed first; forms that originate from sites to which you belong are listed next. To use a global form, select one of the following:

    • Evaluation
      1. Use the radio buttons to select the appropriate grade.
      2. Add a comment in the text box.
      3. Click Continue.
    • Expectation
      1. Add content to the "Evidence" and "Connect" text boxes.
      2. Click Continue.
    • Feedback
      1. Add a comment in the text box.
      2. Click Continue.
    • Intellectual Growth
      1. Add content to the "Intellectual Growth" text box.
      2. Click Continue.
    • Reflection
      1. Add content to the "Reflection" text box.
      2. Click Continue.

  2. Type the title and description in the appropriate text boxes.

  3. Choose your form item's copyright status, add copyright information, and choose whether or not to display a copyright alert.

  4. Click Finish to add your form item to Resources.
