In Outlook Web App, how do I add or edit a signature?

Note: OWA now has the same functionality across major browsers in most cases; see In Outlook Web App (OWA), what are the "Premium" and "Light" interfaces? For more information on using OWA, with your Inbox displayed, click ? (the question mark) at the top right.

Outlook Web App (OWA) allows the use of signatures, although its functionality is not as robust as that of Outlook, which gives you multiple signatures to choose from and permits you to edit any signatures stored in your Outlook profile. You can, however, create, modify, and use signatures with OWA:

  1. In OWA, click Options at the upper right (near the Log Off link).

  2. On the left, select Settings, and then select the Mail tab.

  3. Under "E-mail Signature", you will see the Signatures settings. In most popular current browsers, OWA will deliver the Premium interface and show a text box with font and paragraph formatting options. See In Outlook Web App (OWA), what are the "Premium" and "Light" interfaces?

If you use an older browser, OWA will deliver the Light interface, which simply displays a text box with no formatting options.
