Microsoft Forefront Client Security, a unified malware protection product for Windows, includes features such as an integrated antivirus and antispyware engine, real-time protection, scheduled and on-demand scans, malware removal, and system recovery. It is targeted towards a managed computing environment, in contrast to the Windows Live OneCare product for home computing.

Forefront is designed for both 32- and 64-bit Windows 7, Vista, XP, and Server 2008 and 2003 systems, and is licensed for use by Indiana University full-time equivalent (FTE) employees. For details related to your department, contact your departmental LSP.
