ARCHIVED: What is ASTA, and how do I apply for it?

The Advanced Support for TeraGrid Applications (ASTA) program offers embedded Advanced User Support (AUS) consultants who can help projects maximize the effectiveness and productivity of their TeraGrid allocations.

You can request ASTA support when you ARCHIVED: apply for a TeraGrid allocation. You must provide justification for your request in your main proposal document. AUS encourages users to discuss their support needs with the TeraGrid Help Desk ( help@teragrid.org ) before requesting ASTA support.

Note: In addition to requesting ASTA during your initial request for an allocation, you can apply for ASTA throughout the year as a supplemental request.

For further details about ASTA (and how to apply), see Advanced Support for TeraGrid Applications in the TeraGrid User Support documentation. For a list of current ASTA projects, see the ASTA project list.
