How do I manage my subscriptions to TeraGrid user and system news lists?
Note: After ten years of service to the national science and engineering community, the TeraGrid project has ended. It is succeeded by a new National Science Foundation (NSF) program, the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE). You should move any data stored on TeraGrid systems to an alternate storage resource. If you have leftover service units on your TeraGrid allocation, or if your research requires further use of high performance computational, visualization, storage, and network resources, consider applying for an allocation on one or more XSEDE digital services.
As a TeraGrid researcher, you are automatically subscribed to several email lists for news, announcements, and updates about TeraGrid sites, software, projects, and trainings.
To manage your subscriptions:
- Visit the TeraGrid User &
System News page.
- On the left, under "Subscription Services", click
Manage Email Subscription.
- Under "Manage Your Subscription", type your email address, and
then click
Manage. In the "Category" column, you'll see the lists that are available. Next to each, under "Status", radio buttons show whether you are subscribed or not.
- For each list, select
Subscribedto subscribe orNot Subscribedto unsubscribe. You can also subscribe to a list using RSS by clicking its RSS icon, or by copying and pasting the feed's URL to your RSS client.
- To subscribe to or unsubscribe from all lists at once, under
"Collective Actions", select
Subscribe AllorUnsubscribe All.
- To receive plain-text email (instead of the default HTML format),
under "Collective Actions", select
Text-only Email.
- To opt out of receiving email from the system, under "Collective
Actions", select
Opt Out. If you opt out, you will no longer receive normal priority email messages from TeraGrid news and will not be re-subscribed when you obtain a new allocation.
- When you're finished, at the bottom, click
Save.
To return to the User & System News page, on the left, under
"News Item Views", click List View.
