What is SVT, and where is it installed on XSEDE?
Scalable Visualization Toolkits (SVT), also known as VisTools, is a collection of software libraries and applications for creating high-resolution visualizations of large complex scientific data. Current applications let you interactively navigate large volumes on your desktop and do full-color perspective volume rendering. The toolkits are designed to work with data sets that are too large to fit in memory using out-of-core techniques. For more, see the SVT API overview.
To find which XSEDE resources have this software (and which version) installed, use the Comprehensive Software Search on the XSEDE Software page.
- Make sure the first drop-down list is set to
Name.
- Enter the application name in the text box.
- Click
Search.
If your search returns 0 results, it may mean this software is not
available on XSEDE. If you wish to use such an application, contact
help@xsede.org . If a product (e.g., Python)
is installed on a resource, and you want to use a specific module
associated with that product (e.g., Biopython), you may contact
help@xsede.org to request its
installation.
