How do I set up authentication with SSH keys on a TeraGrid resource?

Note: The information below assumes you have finished all the initial procedures for getting a TeraGrid allocation. If you have not completed all these steps, see How do I get started using the TeraGrid?

To set up authentication using SSH key pairs, you must generate an SSH key pair on your computer. The key pair consists of a private key, which will remain in a secure location on your computer, and a public key, which you will transfer (copy and paste) to the TeraGrid resources you use. For complete instructions, see SSH with Key Pairs in the TeraGrid User Support documentation.
