In ePortfolio, how do I delete a matrix?

Note: To complete these procedures, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. To determine your role, follow the directions in Participant roles. Although it is possible to delete a portfolio matrix from the Matrices tool, exercise extreme caution when doing so. Deleting a matrix removes all associations with uploaded files, reflections, feedback, evaluations, and reports and cannot be undone. Therefore, you should only delete a matrix if it has never been used to collect real data (for example, a matrix you created to learn more about the portfolio authoring process or as a prototype for a production matrix).

To delete a matrix:

1. From the menubar of the worksite containing the matrix you wish to delete, click Matrices.
   
   
2. On the Manage Matrices page, locate the matrix you wish to delete, and click Delete.

   Note: If there are several matrices with the same name and you are uncertain about which one to delete, open and/or revise each matrix to look for clues (e.g., the presence of uploaded files and reflections, completed evaluations, and feedback forms).

3. You will be asked to confirm your action. Click Continue to confirm and return to the Manage Matrices page.
