In ePortfolio, how do I delete a wizard?
Note: To complete the procedures in this document, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. To determine your role, follow the directions in Participant roles. To view a list of permissions associated with a given role, see Permissions, roles, and tools. For a basic understanding of roles and permissions, see Permissions and roles: Overview.
Although it is possible to delete a portfolio wizard from the Wizards tool, you should exercise extreme caution when doing so. Deleting a wizard removes all associations with uploaded files, reflections, feedback, evaluations, and reports and cannot be undone. Therefore, you should only delete a wizard if it has never been used to collect real data (e.g., a wizard you created to learn more about the portfolio authoring process or as a prototype for a production wizard).
To delete a wizard:
- From the menubar of the worksite containing the wizard
you wish to delete, click
Wizards.
- On the Manage Wizards page, locate the wizard you wish to
delete, and click
Delete.Note: If there are several wizards with the same name and you are uncertain about which one to delete, open and/or revise each wizard to look for clues (e.g., the presence of uploaded files and reflections, completed evaluations, and feedback forms).
- You will be asked to confirm your action. Click
Deleteto confirm and return to the Manage Wizards page.
