ARCHIVED: On the TeraGrid, what was the IA-64 cluster at SDSC?

The IA-64 cluster at San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) is a high performance computing (HPC) resource consisting of 262 nodes, each with a dual 1.5GHz Itanium2 processor and 4GB of physical memory. It was retired from service on the TeraGrid June 30, 2009.
