ARCHIVED: On the TeraGrid, what was the IA-64 cluster at UC/ANL?

The IA-64 cluster at the University of Chicago/Argonne National Laboratory (UC/ANL) is a high performance computing (HPC) resource consisting of 62 IBM Itaninum2 compute nodes and 96 IBM Xeon visualization nodes. It was retired from service on the TeraGrid July 1, 2009.

Because the system was co-allocated with Mercury (NCSA), users can use their remaining service units on that system.

If you have questions or concerns about the retirement, email  help@teragrid.org .
