ARCHIVED: On the TeraGrid, what was Maverick?

Maverick, the Sun E25K remote visualization system at Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), was retired from service on the TeraGrid December 1, 2008. TACC continues to operate a visualization system, Spur (TACC), as well as the Ranger (TACC) and Lonestar (TACC) compute resources, for TeraGrid users. If you have questions about the retirement, email  help@teragrid.org .
