In SPSS, how do I view and edit output .spo created in previous versions?

Because SPSS (version 16.0 or later) uses the .spv output format, it cannot open output files with the extension (.spo) from earlier versions of SPSS.

To view and edit .spo files in SPSS 16.0 or later, you need the Legacy Viewer application.

For use at home, you can install the SPSS Legacy Viewer from the SPSS Support web site.
