How do I use the XSEDE Queue Prediction tool to predict when a job will run?

To predict when your job will run on the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), use the Queue Prediction tool in the XSEDE User Portal.

To access the tool from within the User Portal, click the Resources tab, and then click Queue Prediction.

Predictions are based on the number of processing cores and the wall time requested for the job. By default, predictions are made on all available resources using each system's default queue. To limit predictions to specific systems and/or queues, click Show System/Queue Options.

To predict wait time, start time, or both, fill in your job information (number of processing cores, wall time, confidence interval size) and prediction options, and then click Predict! .
