Using Oncourse Assignments 2, how do I check a grade on an assignment?

For instructions for the original Assignments tool, see Assignments.

To check your grade on an assignment:

  1. In the menubar, click Assignments 2. When the Assignment List page appears, you'll see the title of your assignment and information about its status.

  2. Click Submitted under the title of the assignment for more details.

You will be directed to a page containing the assignment's details, separated into several collapsible sections. Use the arrows to the left of each section title to expand or collapse them as needed.

    • Grade Details: Contains the grade you were assigned, along with any comments. This section will only appear for assignments linked to the Gradebook tool.
    • Assignment Feedback/Submitted date: Contains feedback the instructor has left, along with a copy of any text or attachments you have submitted.
    • Assignment Details: Lists the assignment's open date, whether the assignment will be graded, the points possible, and the assignment's resubmission information.
    • Assignment Instructions: Contains instructions for the assignment.

  3. Click Return to List to return to the Assignment List page.

You may need to take further action (e.g., if your instructor has made suggestions and asked you to resubmit the assignment). After you've done the needed work, you can preview your changes, resubmit your assignment, or save it as a draft.
