On Quarry at IU, how do I use LISREL 8 and PRELIS 2?

On the Quarry Cluster at Indiana University, you can run LISREL 8 and PRELIS 2 in noninteractive mode.

Before you run LISREL or PRELIS:

  1. Connect to Quarry using SSH, replacing username with your username: ssh username@quarry.teragrid.iu.edu
  2. Add the line  + Lisrel-8.7  to your ~/.soft file; for instructions, see On Big Red and Quarry at IU, how can I use SoftEnv to customize my software environment?

  3. Type exit to log out, and then see step 1 to log back into Quarry.

  4. Use SSH to access the b001 node: ssh b001
