After unblocking my computer at unblock.iu.edu, why am I still unable to access the IU network?
If you perform an unblock via https://unblock.iu.edu/, it will take effect within 5 minutes. If your computer is still blocked after that time, you may not have removed all blocks placed on your account. For example, you may have removed the MAC address block, but neglected to remove the block placed on the IP address for the remainder of the DHCP lease.
When you need to use unblock.iu.edu, we recommend that you search for network blocks by username so that you will see all of the blocks you need to remove. If you have problems finding the blocks, try searching for the blocks by your IP address.
