Purchase IDRISI software at IU
IDRISI is an integrated GIS and image processing system that includes nearly 300 modules for the analysis and display of digital spatial information.
The Department of Geography manages the Indiana University site license with Clark Labs for IDRISI and Cartalinx software. At IU Bloomington, IDRISI is available in all Student Technology Centers.
- Students: May purchase IDRISI directly from Clark Labs at reduced prices. The Student Starter license is fully functional for a year after the purchase, and includes documentation and tutorial exercises. When ordering student software, you will need to provide proof of student status, such as your current semester's schedule of classes.
- Faculty and staff: May purchase IDRISI for $200 annually from the Geography Department staff. The license year for IDRISI software extends from July 1 to June 30 of each year. If you have an existing license and would like to continue using the software, you will need to renew in July at a rate of $200 per license.
