What is Vis5D, and where is it installed on XSEDE?
Vis5D is a system for interactive visualization of large 5D gridded data sets (three spatial dimensions, time, and enumerated physical variables), such as those produced by numerical weather and climate models. For more, see the Vis5D web site.
To find which XSEDE resources have this software (and which version) installed, use the Comprehensive Software Search on the XSEDE Software page.
- Make sure the first drop-down list is set to
Name.
- Enter the application name in the text box.
- Click
Search.
If your search returns 0 results, it may mean this software is not
available on XSEDE. If you wish to use such an application, contact
help@xsede.org . If a product (e.g., Python)
is installed on a resource, and you want to use a specific module
associated with that product (e.g., Biopython), you may contact
help@xsede.org to request its
installation.
