In Cyrus mail, how do I find messages sent from my iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad?

When you set up your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to connect to your Cyrus account, the default setting causes sent messages to be saved only on your device, not on the Cyrus mail server. These messages are not available through Webmail or other email clients.

A configuration change on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad will ensure that mail sent from the device is saved on the Cyrus server. To change your mail settings:

  1. From the Home screen, choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Select your Cyrus account.

  2. At the bottom of the Cyrus screen, tap Advanced.

  3. Tap Sent Mailbox.

  4. On the Mailboxes page, place a checkmark on the folder where you want messages from your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to be saved:

    • If the Sent folder is checked under "On My iPhone", "On My iPod touch", or "On My iPad", messages you send will be saved only on your device only. Your sent messages will not be saved on the Cyrus server, and you will not be able to access these messages without your device.

    • If the sent-mail folder under "On the Server" is checked, messages you send will be saved on the Cyrus server. You will be able to access these messages from your device, Webmail, or anywhere you can read your Cyrus account.
