At IU, how do I change my Self-Service Passphrase Reset questions?

To change your questions in the Self-Service Passphrase Reset system:

  1. Go to the Account Management Service at: itaccounts.iu.edu
  2. Click manage my IU computing accounts.

  3. Log into Central Authentication Service (CAS) if you are not already logged in.

  4. Click setup passphrase questions.

  5. Select Un-enroll from the passphrase self-service reset. , and then click Submit.

  6. On the left, click set up passphrase questions.

  7. Select Enroll me in the passphrase self-service reset system. , and then click Submit.

  8. Select and answer the questions you wish to use.

Note: To access the Self-Service Passphrase Reset questions, you must have a valid passphrase and your account must be not be locked due to failed attempts at answering the questions. If you need to have your Self-Service Passphrase Reset questions unlocked, contact the Support Center.
