What are my responsibilities when using the Advanced IT Core's HIPAA-aligned services?

When using the Advanced IT Core's HIPAA-aligned services:

• You, as the data owner, are responsible for keeping your data and practices secure as required by HIPAA. Failure to do so may subject you to penalties as stated in What are the penalties for violating HIPAA?

• You cannot use Advanced IT Core's services with clinical data that are part of current, active patient treatment. The systems are not "medical devices" regulated by the FDA and are not compliant with FDA rules controlling medical devices.
