In the Oncourse Original Test and Survey tool, why am I getting an error message in my combined course site?
Note: The Original Test and Survey tool is slated to be completely replaced by Tests & Surveys as of fall 2012; see About the retirement of Original Test and Survey.
In combined course sites, you may be unable to access the Original Test and Survey tool while the daily roster synchronization occurs, typically between 6 and 7am. You may see the following error message:
To access the Original Test and Survey tool as a Departmental Administrator, you must first enter the course and add yourself as a participant via Site Setup > Add Participants.
If you see this message between 6 and 7am, try again in a little while. If you see it at any other time of the day, contact your campus Support Center.
