ARCHIVED: About the retirement of Oncourse Original Test and Survey

The Original Test and Survey tool has been retired, and is no longer available from any site. Its replacement is another testing tool that is widely used at other Sakai institutions, running at IU under the name ARCHIVED: Tests & Surveys.

Migrating your data

If you exported tests or surveys from Original Test and Survey prior to August 16, 2012, you can import them into Tests & Surveys. For instructions, see ARCHIVED: Exporting assessments. Some settings and question types may import differently from what you expect; see ARCHIVED: How will tests imported in bulk from Original Test and Survey appear in Tests & Surveys? Results and grades from Original Test and Survey have been archived in accordance with institutional policy.

You can add Tests & Surveys to any course, project, or portfolio site; see ARCHIVED: Adding, removing, hiding, or reordering tools. If you've not yet become familiar with the tool, you may want to begin exploring its features in a practice course or project site.
