Architecture of IU's WCMS
IU's implementation of Cascade Server is a collaborative effort among Enterprise Web Technical Services (EWTS), Enterprise System Administration (ESA), Storage and Virtualization (SAV), and Database Administration (DBA). The WCMS takes advantage of IU's infrastructure to leverage effective and efficient virtual machines, including web, application, and database servers. Current 64-bit virtual servers include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Oracle 11g for the database server.
