ARCHIVED: How do I know if I have a Network ID?

If you received your first Indiana University computing accounts after January 1, 1994, then you also received a Network ID at that time.

Your network username and passphrase (which together compose the Network ID) are typically the same for your other UITS computing accounts. You can change your network passphrase and other passphrases using IU's Passphrase Maintenance Utility at:

https://passphrase.iu.edu/

If you do not have a Network ID, see What is an IU Network ID? and How do I get my first computing accounts at IU?

If you do not know what your network passphrase is, see At IU, if I forget my passphrase on a UITS shared central system, what should I do?
