Indiana University has entered into agreements with several publishers to deliver electronic textbooks for use in IU classes. Students and instructors will access the eTexts through Oncourse and/or Canvas, using the Courseload Engage eText reader software.

For information about the evolving eTexts initiative at IU, including the latest information about costs, availability, vendors, and student use and access, see IU eTexts. For instructions on searching for available eTexts, see ARCHIVED: At IU, how do I search for and adopt IU eTexts?

For more, see ARCHIVED: About Courseload Engage.

Note: UITS recommends that instructors wishing to adopt digital learning tools (such as McGraw-Hill Campus and WileyPLUS) should order them via the IU eTexts Adoptions Portal. Doing so will give your students IU eTexts-negotiated discounts, the ease of bursar billing, access on the first day of class, and single sign-on integration of the tool in your Canvas course site. (McGraw-Hill Campus and WileyPLUS will also be integrated in Oncourse course sites.)

Instructors can get help using technology in their teaching at the teaching and learning centers on each campus.
