ARCHIVED: Upload a file larger than 2 GB to Slashtmp

Only certain web browsers support uploading files larger than 2 GB to Slashtmp at Indiana University:

Chrome, version 8 or higher (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Safari, version 5 or higher (Windows, macOS)
Opera, version 11 or higher (Windows, macOS, Linux)

If you're not using one of these browsers, and try to upload a file larger than 2 GB, Slashtmp will return the following warning:

You appear to be using a version of [browser name]. Is your file larger than 2 GB? That probably won't work.

Each supported browser is available for free download:

Chrome
Safari (for Windows only; Safari is built into macOS)
Opera

Note:

Any web browser is capable of downloading any file you upload to Slashtmp, even if it's larger than 2 GB.
