What are my responsibilities as an XSEDE user?

The Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), including its hardware, software, network connections, and data, is a vital but limited resource for the scientific community. Therefore, XSEDE Service Provider sites have an obligation to protect its resources and ensure they are used properly. Additionally, Service Provider sites have legal and other obligations to protect resources and the intellectual property of the users.

To ensure that XSEDE users know and understand their responsibilities, all researchers who have been awarded an XSEDE allocation, or added to an existing one, must read, sign, and submit the User Responsibility Form before their accounts are activated.

To review the XSEDE user responsibilities, see the "Requirements" section of Usage Policies on the XSEDE web site.
