Firefox is the preferred browser for accessing Courseload eTexts at Indiana University. If you'd prefer to use Internet Explorer (IE), Courseload recommends using version 9 or later. To use IE 8 or 7, install the Chrome Frame plug-in from Google:

  1. Using IE 8 or 7, go to Google Chrome Frame for Windows.
  2. Read the terms of service, and then click Accept and Install.

Note: You don't need to be logged in as an administrator to install the plug-in.

  3. When the installation is complete, click Close to exit.
  4. Close Internet Explorer, and then restart it before using Courseload eTexts.
