How do I determine the MAC address of my BlackBerry phone?

The steps to determine the MAC address of your BlackBerry phone depend on which operating system your BlackBerry uses. The below information covers versions 5 through 7.

BlackBerry OS 6 and 7

  1. On the All apps screen, press the Menu key (the button with the BlackBerry logo on it). This will show you all the icons available.

Note: If you are not on the All apps screen, either flick to the side (if you have a touchscreen BlackBerry), or side scroll using the trackpad (if you have a non-touchscreen BlackBerry).

  2. Select Options. This is normally the icon shaped like a wrench.

  3. Select Device, and then Device and Status Information.

Your device's MAC address will display in the "WLAN MAC:" field.

BlackBerry OS 5

  1. On the Home screen, press the Menu key (the button with the BlackBerry logo on it). This will show you all the icons available.

  2. Select Options. This is normally the icon shaped like a wrench.

  3. Select Status.

Your device's MAC address will display next to "WLAN MAC address".
