ARCHIVED: On my personal web page at IU, can I use forms to generate mail messages?

Because CGI programs represent a potential security risk and require additional resources, forms (and other CGI applications) are not available on personal web pages on Mypage at Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI (mypage.iu.edu). Note: On June 23, 2008, UITS will retire Steel. As part of this process, UITS will move the Mypage service to a new platform. For more, see ARCHIVED: About the Mypage migration.

Note: The IU South Bend Mypage service is different from the Mypage service noted here; see IUSB's Web Publishing: Mypage.

If you need to use forms to collect information related to your academic work, you can apply for an account on the IU central web server (Webserve). For help, see the IU Webmaster's Accounts page.
