What is a blog?
Blog is Internet slang for "web log", which is commonly a journal or diary available on the web. The act of updating a blog is called blogging, and someone who maintains a blog is called a blogger.
The content of blogs can vary greatly depending on the individual blogger, and can include text, images, and other data. Some blogs are highly personal, chronological entries detailing the blogger's day-to-day life. Others are simply lists of interesting web links found by the blogger or contributed by readers of the blog. Other blogs may serve as sounding boards for commentary on any topic the blogger finds interesting.
