At IUB, how do I activate the data jack in my campus office?

To request data jack activation at Indiana University Bloomington, contact your departmental telecommunications coordinator. Please allow five to seven business days from the time the order is placed to the actual activation of the data jack.

For additional information on ordering a new jack, activating a data jack, or deactivating a data jack, email Telecom Consulting.

To determine if a particular data jack is active, search the UITS Networks Operations Datajacks Database for your building and room. (You will need to authenticate with your username and passphrase before searching.)
