What is UITS Learning Environments and Technology Services?

Learning Environments and Technology Services includes the Classroom Technology Services and Learning Environments Design service units.

Classroom Technology Services (CTS) provides multimedia equipment and display devices, training, and support to those teaching in general purpose classrooms. CTS is responsible for the installation and operational integrity of the technology permanently installed in classrooms, and also makes available a limited range of mobile equipment.
Learning Environments Design staff work collaboratively with other UITS units, schools and departments system-wide, Physical Plant, Campus Facilities Services, and the University Architect's Office in the design and redesign of formal and informal learning environments that reflect effective teaching/learning pedagogies. Staff also develop standardized, integrated AV/IT systems to meet the technology needs for the array of formal and informal learning spaces being designed.
