ARCHIVED: In Unix, using Berkeley mail, how can I have a .signature file automatically appended?

In Unix, if you are using Berkeley mail (by entering mailx or Mail on many systems), you cannot have a signature file automatically appended; you have to use your editor to append it to your message. If you are not in an editor, you can append the .signature file by entering:

 ~r .signature
