ARCHIVED: In WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS, how do I save a file in a different format?

To save a file in a different format in WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS, follow these steps:

  1. Press F10. A dialog box will open.
  2. In the "Filename:" field, enter the filename.
  3. Tab down to the "Format:" field. If you press Enter, you will be given a menu of different file types. Select the one you want and press the Enter key.
  4. To save the file in the format you want, press the Enter key again when you see the OK button. To cancel the operation, tab to the Cancel button; the file will not be saved.
