If you do not have access to the X Window System and you
enter sas
at the Unix prompt, you may encounter the
following error:
Error: Cannot Open X display. Check display name/server access authorization.
To avoid this problem, at the prompt, enter:
sas -nodms
Alternatively, to run a SAS syntax file, enter:
sas -nodms filename
Replace filename
with the name of your SAS syntax file.
