ARCHIVED: Finding an Internet service provider (ISP)

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

Because Internet service providers (ISPs) change over time, no fixed list is likely to remain useful for very long. If you need to find an ISP, the best solution is to do some research on your own:

  • Ask friends and family members about their service providers, and how satisfied they are with the service.
  • Do some online searches, comparing prices for various services. You should also be able to find customer reviews for various providers.
  • It may also be helpful to search in your local yellow pages. Yellow pages can be searched online at YellowPages.com.
