This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Resources linked from this page may no longer be available or reliable.

Adobe offers two related tools for working with PDF files. The Adobe Acrobat line provides tools for viewing, creating, and editing PDF (Portable Document Format) files. Adobe Reader allows you to view, print, annotate, and digitally sign, but not edit or create, PDF files. For more about the Acrobat product lines, see Adobe Acrobat.

Many Adobe software products are available free via IUware for IU students, faculty, and staff under the IU/Adobe License Agreement.
