At IU, what statistical or mathematical software is available, and how can I get it?

At Indiana University, the UITS Research Analytics group supports a variety of statistical, mathematical, and geospatial software packages, both open source and commercial, by providing software licensing and distribution, along with support and consulting services for users. For a list of currently supported software packages, see At IU, what software packages does UITS Research Analytics support?

IU students, faculty, and staff with valid university IDs can purchase or lease statistical and mathematical packages through Research Analytics. For details, contact Research Analytics. You also can acquire many of the available packages at your campus bookstore. For more about purchasing or licensing statistical and mathematical software at IU, see About Research Analytics licensing and technical support at IU.

Research Analytics also makes software available for use in the Student Technology Centers (STCs) at IU Bloomington and IUPUI, on IU's research computing systems, and via IUanyWare.

If you have questions about using statistical and mathematical software at Indiana University, contact Research Analytics. Research Analytics is located on the IU Bloomington campus at Woodburn Hall 200; staff are available for consultation Monday-Friday 9am-noon and by appointment.
